As you know the Word ‘Grey’ could also be written as ‘Gray’. I decided to write it with an “e” instead of an “a” because I’ve always liked this spelling better. In my mind I link the color grey with the letter “e” and the color yellow with the letter “a”.
Regardless of what I like or not like, there are a few facts about these two spellings that can’t be ignored. In the USA and Canada, of every 100 times this word is written, 80 times is ‘gray’, and 20 times is ‘grey’.
In Great Britain is exactly the opposite.
Perhaps this is an irrelevant fact , but it’s an interesting one.
